Elections in 2022:
May 17, 2022- Statewide Party Primary for Federal, State, and County races; Orange County Board of Education Election; and Town of Carrboro Special Election
November 8, 2022- General Election
Polls are open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m.
Orange County Voters:
- Are all within the 4th US House Congressional District
Map of Orange County Precincts - Are all within the 23rd NC Senate District
Map of Orange County Precincts - Are split between NC House District 50 and 56
Map - Vote on Commissioner District seats by Districts in the Primaries but county-wide in General Elections.
Map - Are split between two school districts- Orange County Schools (school board elections are held in even-year primaries) and Chapel Hill - Carrboro City Schools (school board elections are held in odd-year November elections).
Map - Seventeen-year-old voters turning eighteen by the general election may vote in any primary election associated with that general election, even if the voter will only be 17 years old during the primary. Seventeen-year-old voters are not eligible to vote in the upcoming Orange County School Board Election or Town of Carrboro Special Election.
