2020 Orange County Senior Games – Cancelled
Due to effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 Orange County Senior Games has been cancelled based on the encouragement of the NC Senior Games Board of Directors and recommendation of the OC Senior Games Planning committee.

Senior Games is a year-round health promotion program for adults ages 50 plus. Activities include sports and games competitions/tournaments, social activities, and the SilverArts - including visual, heritage (wood working, basket weaving, ceramic glass and etc), as well as local and state competitions.

Senior Games sponsors: The Recreation and Parks Departments of Carrboro, Chapel Hill and Orange County, and the Orange County Department on Aging.
Orange County Senior Games are coordinated by Orange County Department on Aging and the Recreation and Parks Departments of Carrboro and Chapel Hill. They are part of the National Senior Games, a year-round health promotion program for adults ages 50 plus. Each spring, thousands of North Carolinians compete at local events. National Senior Health and Fitness Day Celebration: Every year, on the last Wednesday in May, the Department on Aging hosts activities in honor of National Senior Health and Fitness Day.
