The 2022 Cohort is tentatively scheduled to begin Tuesday, Feb. 22. The class will meet from 6-8 p.m. each night. Field trips will be held in-person at the location within the county. The classroom sessions (Feb. 22, March 8, April 12 and May 10) will be offered virtually through Zoom. The graduation ceremony (June 7) will be held in-person prior to the Board of Commissioners meeting).
The first session is an overview of county government. Succeeding sessions will include 3-4 presentations on various county departments (virtual) or field trips to either Orange County Animal Services, the Orange County Landfill or the 911 Center and Passmore Senior Center.
