2. Is the countable income used before or after taxes?: Before taxes

3. How old does a child have to be to receive assistance?: Child care Subsidy will assist children since newborn until 12 years old.

4. How does my being pregnant and the waiting list work?: If you are pregnant and are planning to return to work, please contact our department after the child is born to be added to the childcare waiting list.

5. Should I put both parents on the waiting list form?: Only if both parents are in the home.

6. If I reside in another county and I am receiving services, can funding be transferred to Orange County?: No, services do not transfer from County to County.
