PUBLIC CHARGE
The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect. The Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens. If at any time should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending person to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed.

CJPP Grant Proposal FY 2000-2001
The Board will consider approving the submission of a grant proposal to continue implementation of Criminal Justice Partnership Programs for Orange and Chatham counties.

9. ITEMS FOR DECISION - REGULAR AGENDA
a.
Solid Waste Matters Greene Tract and Revisions to Inter-local Agreement (8:00-9:00)
The Board will discuss the transfer of a 60-acre portion of the Greene tract to Orange County ownership and possible changes to the inter-local agreement governing future management of solid waste.
b.
Text Amendments to Subdivision Regulations and Zoning Ordinance (9:00-9:15)
The Board will consider revising the time-limited sections of subdivision regulations and zoning ordinance, and amending the appeal procedures for minor subdivisions.

"A New Consensus for Farmland Preservation" Stakeholders Listing (9:15-9:20)
The Board will review a draft list of stakeholders for participation in the "New Consensus for Farmland Preservation" initiative.
