B.    PUBLIC CHARGE

The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County its respect.  The Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow citizens.  At any time should any member of the Board or any citizen fail to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending member to leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control.   Should decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such time that a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed.  All electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers, and computers should please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate.

1.      Zoning Ordinance Amendment:  To receive public comment on proposed amendment(s) to Article Seven (7) Planned Development Section 7.2.8 Time Limit of Start of Construction of Planned Development of the Orange County Ordinance clarifying existing regulations governing the commencement of construction activities.

 

2.      Zoning Ordinance Amendment:  To receive public comment on proposed amendments to Article Four (4) Establishment of Permitted Use Table and Schedule Section(s) 4.2.8 and 4.2.9 of the Orange County Zoning Ordinance to modify existing standards governing the acceptable level of non-residential zoned area permitted within Commercial activity, Rural Neighborhood, and Rural Community Activity Nodes. 

 

3.      Zoning Ordinance Amendment:  To receive public comment on proposed amendments to Article Six (6) Application of Dimensional Requirements Section 6.23.1 Land Use Restrictions to modify existing regulations prohibiting non-residential development within the University Lake Critical and Protected, Cane Creek Critical, and Upper Eno Critical Watershed Protection Overlay Districts.
