The County Manager's Office consists of four divisions, including Management and Administration which oversees the 25 departments that make up Orange County to assure adequate levels of service are provided to residents as efficiently as possible. The other divisions are the Criminal Justice Resource Office, the Homelessness Coordinator and Risk Management.
The Management and Administration division implements the policies of the Board of County Commissioners and coordinates, monitors and evaluates the day-to-day operations of the County.
Management and Administration Responsibilities
- Serves as a liaison between County Commissioners, County Departments and residents
- Oversees the development, presentation and administration of the annual Operating budget and Capital Investment Plan
- Investigates and develops strategies for improving service delivery
- Provides the technical and management components for major County endeavors
