Chapel Hill/Carrboro
By law, registered voters must be assigned to a precinct according to their residence address.
All precincts vote for the following offices:
- Orange County Commissioners
- Orange County Register of Deeds
- Orange County Sheriff
- Orange County Clerk of Court
- Until January 2013, all of Orange County is represented by the 4th US Congressional District - David Price
- Patterson Precinct is the only precinct that has a split school district.
The chart below indicates the name of the precincts, the locations, and the precinct-specific districts.
Please note: New Districts in red will be voted on in 2012 and representation will begin in 2013.
