"Dig Into Reading" to win great prizes this summer!
Prizes for all ages
Everyone who participates in Summer Reading has a chance to win great prizes - most of which have been provided locally. Adults and teens can submit book tickets for a chance to win prize books or enter the Kindle Fire drawings. Youth can bring their Reading Record to the library each week to be stamped and receive prizes for reading, too!

Win a Kindle Fire
The Friends of the Orange County Public Library generously donated two Kindle Fires that we will give away as Grand Prizes for the adult and teen summer reading programs. Complete a short book review for every book you read in June and July to increase your chances of winning one of these great e-reader tablets! Print an entry form: Teens | Adults
Thanks to our Prize Donors
We'd like to thank the businesses, organizations and individuals who help to make Summer Reading a success by contributing prizes or the means to purchase prizes this year. A big "Thank You" to The Friends of the Library, Auntie Anne's Pretzels, Neecy's Necessities, and the Greenwald family.
Read to give: Book Bucks!
Youth ages 1-11 can opt to receive a “Book Buck,” in lieu of a prize, which allows them to choose a book to be donated to the Ronald McDonald House and Orange Congregations in Mission Samaritan Relief program. Everyone who donates a book will have their name and “Book Buck” posted on a special scroll in the Main Library. Last summer, 290 books were donated through the Book Bucks program.
