Current Exhibit: Our Identity

Current Exhibit

OUR IDENTITY

June 28th through October 26th, 2014

This show, the third of four in the Library Gallery's 2014 exhibition calendar showcasing young artists features Chapel Hill High School senior ceramics artists whose two and three dimensional art pieces explore and amplify their various cultural and ethnic identities. Hollie Novak Taylor, their ceramics teacher, has, through the medium of clay, helped so many of her students explore their cultures over the period she has been teaching at Chapel Hill High School. This exhibition will also contain some of her art work.

This exhibition is made possible by a grant from the Friends of the Carrboro Branch Library and the Orange County Arts Commission.

Reception

A reception will also be held on Sunday, October 19 from 2:00 - 4:30pm.
