Library Task Forces
A consultant was retained by Task Force 2 in July 2004 to prepare a needs assessment of Orange County library facilities. The report provided material background for review & recommendations by the Task Force.
Task Force 3 was created by the Board of County Commissioners in Jan 2007 to evaluate library service in context of capital investment program planning. Task Force 3 presented findings to the Board of County Commissions on December 3, 2007 and May 20, 2008.
The Library recently met with Board of County Commissioners on September 14, 2010 to discuss library services in particular a 1) southwest branch library and 2) rural service options. View the September 14 Agenda Item Abstract or BOCC Meeting Minutes.
