Non-life threatening injuries reported in accident involving Orange County ambulance

ORANGE COUNTY, NC (November 5, 2017)
- An Orange County Emergency Services’ ambulance was involved in a motor vehicle collision on US 70 in Mebane on Sunday afternoon.

The ambulance crew was not responding to a call or transporting a patient at the time. An Orange County Paramedic and the driver of the other vehicle were both transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening injuries.

The North Carolina State Highway Patrol is investigating the accident. The accident will not cause any disruptions in EMS services provided by Orange County.
