Payment By Telephone
There will be a convienence fee based on the amount that you are paying. Allow 3 business days for payment to be credited to your account.
1. Call toll-free 1-888-2PAY-TAX (1-888-272-9829) using a touch-tone phone.
2. You will be asked to enter the following information using your phone's keypad:
- Orange County Tax Office Jurisdiction Code 4311.
- Your bill number followed by the # key.
- Your phone number.
- The amount you want to pay in whole dollars and cents. You will be informed of the convenience fee for the amount you are paying. Press 1 to accept the fee and continue with your payment or press the *(star) key to cancel.
- Your card number.
- Your card's expiration date (mm/yy)
- The zip code where the statement for your card is sent.
3. At the end of the call you will be given a confirmation number. Please write this number down and save it for your records.
4. To request a recepit, contact the Tax Office. Please have your bill number and confirmation number available.
