Department of Social Services
The Orange County Department of Social Services exists to provide protection to vulnerable children and adults, economic support to low-income individals and families in crisis, and intervention services to at-risk persons residing in Orange County. The agency is the access point for most state and federal human services programs.
Applications and additional information about all programs are available at both Orange County office locations.

Am I Eligible?
The U.S. Government operates a website with an online benefit estimator tool that can help determine whether you might be eligible for benefits. Actual eligibility determination must be done by a caseworker at the Department of Social Services.
