1/18 Cloud Storage
This class will have an overview of what cloud storage is, and how to store your information in the cloud.
1/25 Computer Basics
This class is for anyone beginning to learn how to use a computer and a mouse. We go over the physical computer parts, how to turn the computer on and off, the desktop, start menu, and how Microsoft Windows works.
2/1 Internet Basics
Students will learn how to open a web browser, how to navigate to different sites, and how to search the web using a search engine. No previous experience with computers necessary!
2/8 Mouse and Keyboard Practice
We will go over the parts of the keyboard, as well as the different mouse buttons and types of clicks. We will also have time to practice using both the keyboard and mouse.
2/15 Search Engine Basics
This class is for anyone who would like to improve their ability to search the web. We will go over search terms, evaluating sources, and more.
2/22 Smart Phone Basics
This class will cover the basics of smart phones. Bring your own device to practice on.
2/29 Email Basics
In this class you will set up an email account and learn how to use it. By the end of the class, you will know how to login, create and send emails, attach files to an email, and add people to your contacts list.
3/7 Microsoft Word Basics
Using Microsoft Word, you will learn to create a document, including how to format, copy and paste, insert images, check for spelling and grammar errors, and how to save and print.
3/14 Hands-on with Hardware
Look inside a computer to learn about its different parts and how they work together.
3/21 Microsoft Excel Basics
Using Microsoft Excel, a spreadsheet program we will cover the different parts of a spreadsheet and toolbars. You will learn how to create a budget, insert and format text in cells/rows, how to sort data, perform basic math functions, and how to save and print.
3/28 Doing More with Excel
In this class you will learn how to copy, paste and fill data across cells, apply advanced formatting options, use additional formulas and functions, create charts and graphs, and how to use multiple sheets.

4/25 Job and Resume Workshop I
