Donations always make a difference and especially now!! We depend upon your monetary and material donations to help us continue to care for the many animals that come to us each year.
All donations are tax deductible and may be made in several ways:
Animal Care Supplies
We have suspended all in-person donation drop offs to our facility (until further notice) in response to the COVID-19 outbreak. However, we can still accept deliveries from online resources (Amazon, Chewy, etc.). We can always benefit from monetary donations...you can simply mail a check or scroll down to see how to donate money online through our Community Giving Fund. Thank you for your understanding and support!
We use a variety of animal supplies daily and are always in need of these. Many of the items can be ordered online and delivered directly to our shelter at 1601 Eubanks Road, Chapel Hill, NC, 27516. View a list of our most commonly used and needed supplies.

DONATE ONLINE TO OUR VETERINARY CARE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM!
In order to keep more pets in their homes with their families, we are developing and accepting GoFundMe donations for a fund that can assist Orange County residents with non-routine, non-emergency veterinary expenses. In general, we see many heartbreaking pet surrenders to our shelter as a result of owners not being able to afford to properly care for their pets when they need medical attention. We know that, during the COVID-19 pandemic, we will likely see increases in these types of surrenders as a result of unemployment and other economic pressures.
Once established, this fund will be available to Orange County residents based on their needs and ability to meet income criteria. Obtaining this assistance would require collaboration with local veterinarians or specialists, and may cover full or partial medical expenses for issues such as: skin infections and other skin issues, dental issues, minor surgeries, etc. Funds will be issued to veterinarians and veterinary clinics or hospitals for these services for dogs, cats and other pets from economically challenged households in Orange County, NC.
This type of program will help people retain their pets. It will be extremely beneficial for pets, pet owners, and Orange County Animal Services. With the help of your generous donation, we hope to have this fund established soon and begin accepting applications by the end of August 2020. Email email@example.com with questions.
We accept and appreciate monetary donations of any value. Donations for specific projects may be made through the Orange County Giving Fund. You can make a donation online with a credit card or bank direct deposit, or you may mail a check. These projects presently include but may not be limited to:
