Revenue & Collections
The Revenue and Collections Division supervises the timely collection and disposition of taxes within the County. They are responsible for the collection of taxes on personal property, real estate, businesses, ambulance billing and other emergency management fees. They also issues Beverage licenses and Mobile Home Moving Permits and is tasked with administering and collecting the Orange County Transient Occupancy Tax.

The Town of Chapel Hill Revenue Office is closed to the Public until further notice. Please utilize the drop box located at the Town Hall for non-cash tax payments only. Taxpayers are encouraged to mail payments use the drop boxes located at the Tax Office in Hillsborough and at the Town Hall in Chapel Hill, or PAY ONLINE.
